David Taylor has thirty one years experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on evaluation of exploration and development projects. After four years with Exxon working in the Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast areas, he joined Transco in their E&P company. For ten years, his assignments were focused on exploration and development projects. Then he joined the gas pipeline group to manage a gas supply function. He spent the next two years in a venture capital group within Transco. At Aquila, he was involved in the planning and management of project selection as the company developed a drilling program. At Halliburton, he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating and closing new business ventures as the company expanded from the service role to becoming a risk sharing partner.

Through his exposure to a wide range of activities in several companies, he has compiled a general knowledge of most activities within the industry. His most recent experience is focused on enabling customized commercial structures. During his career, he has worked on four major company acquisitions or divestitures, and numerous major project developments with a size over $100 million.
